The Best Oatmeal Secret
When I learned that I can turn ordinary, plain, steel cut oats into this deliciousness I think I ate if for breakfast a week straight. I've heard of adding sugar, cinnamon, syrup, jelly, fruit, nuts, chia, and a lot of other underwhelming things to oatmeal but one day I got the notion to doctor it up like a loaded baked potato, slapped a fried egg on top and WHAM it got in my belly. Just like that, oatmeal became the GOATmeal. :

Ingredients:
1 package of instant steel cut oatmeal
1 TBSP of butter
1/3 cup of cheese
1 TBSP chives
1 Egg (2 if you're hangry)
2 slices of cooked bacon OR 2 TBSP of bacon bits
salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Start frying your egg, Cook the oatmeal according to the package, stir in the butter, add the remaining ingredients on top and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Enjoy!
